Beginners, Start Writing This Kind of Content To Gain Maximum Growth
and no, you don't need credentials. There's something better than that.
(TLDR & free gifts in the bottom, don’t miss it!)
So you want to start making content.
Lots of YouTubers, Podcasts and TikTokers are out there doing silly shit and making bank.
They all seem like they’re doing something easy. If they can do it, so can we, right?
That is what you will be thinking until when we actually tried to film or make content ourselves.
How do I even film myself? I sound and look cringe, I can’t get my hair right, I can’t stare at the camera.
And most importantly, I can’t think of anything to write.
Or you could be the opposite, everything comes naturally (lucky you).
You’re able to speak about anything on camera and non-stop.
But for some reason your audience is just not growing.
Content creation journey is not a get rich quick scheme.
Even if you’ve gone viral, it’ll help your growth but in reality it doesn’t actually help as much as you would think it does.
If making viral content is your only strategy, you will need to get viral consistently to make meaningful progress.
However, if you’ve had any experience in online content then you’d soon to realize that virality is almost completely random.
You can spend days and days making something amazing, using all the baits you can think of and have that content completely flop.
Then on the next day you could post something as effortless as a semi-heartfelt rant about the current homelessness crisis in America and have it gone absolutely viral.
Virality is a numbers game, it’s something you can hope for, but not something that can be planned.
Your best bet here therefore, is to just consistently make content and some of them will bound to be viral.
This begs the question, you’re ready to consistently make content now. So,
What kind of content should I be making as a beginner to gain maximal exposure and growth?
And the answer is simple.
The “how to”, advice, and tips & tricks.
Let me explain.
If you’re Bill Burr right now, you can literally post any video with your face in it and saying literally anything you want.
If you’re reading this right now, chances are you’re not Bill Burr.
You’re a nobody, just like me. You need to give people a reason to follow you, subscribe to your lists and YouTubes etc.
Somebody will always watch Bill Burr. C’mon, it’s Bill Burr. But at this stage of the journey, no one gives a damn about who we are.
They just want to know, if they were to pay us any of their precious attention, what’s in it for them?
When you are able to give advices to people (and most importantly) if those advices actually work, it doesn’t matter who you are.
Obviously being famous or having some kind of credential will help reduce to resistance of someone from following your advice in the first place.
Unless you’re Hitler, then I don’t think anyone would even dare try to follow your advice.
But the good news is that if you’re reading this, there’s a pretty good chance that you’re not Hitler as well.
If we assume people generally follow your advice and the advices do help with their lives, the last thing that matters is who you are.
Audience will come if you provide genuine value through education.
And what’s the best way to ensure that your advices work?
Make sure you’ve done those things you preach about yourself first.
There are a lot of gurus out there in this day and age who will preach all kinds of crap that they heard from other gurus without testing them out.
They end up either giving advices in a more diluted shittier version, advices that don’t work, or advices that are given in a totally unconvincing manner.
Bonus point:
Don’t worry about your credentials.
In this day and age, no one cares about your degree.
Relatability > Credentials.
I would take advice from someone’s who has just started making 10k a month themselves rather than a billionaire.
At my stage, the 10k a month guy is way closer to where I am and what he or she has to say will always be more relatable than whatever the billionaire fake self help mental jerk off advices.
